Sensory Powers Sounds

by Dana L. Alvarez
#ParentingBooks #ChildrenWithDisabilities

Are you a parent or someone who knows a child who's sensitive to sounds, light or is speech delayed? If so, you know a child with "Sensory Powers" and this is the book for you. Sensory Powers was inspired by the character Ahmez, who is speech delayed, with a sensory processing disorder. This book was written to encourage parents and readers to embrace their little one's "sensory powers", learn from them, and know that you're not in this journey alone.

This book gives some insight into the beauty and frustrations of living with such a special gift that isn't always received well or understood. My hope is that after reading our story, it leaves you with a better understanding of how to support, encourage and love someone who may have different "powers" than you.

We all learn and process things differently, so with that in mind, keep learning, keep advocating for your little ones and know that you're doing a great job! Everything is going to be alright!

There's a beauty in seeing things through the lenses of another.

WILMA LEWIS

This is so amazing. I wish I had this 20 years ago. When my son was diagnosed with autism. I'm so proud of Dana. Thank you for creating this book.
