Five Days Of...

Five Days Of… is a reminder to let go of the tension, awkwardness, and the need to do everything besides focusing on the person you're with. Release the guilt, unforgiveness, and the excuses so that you can give yourself and your relationship the attention, romance, and care it craves.

It's a fictional story that came to me during a time when I was rediscovering and learning how to love myself again. One day, as I sat reflecting, I realized that so many couples put their relationship last and become strangers in their own homes. Quality time, respect, accountability, effort, and passion often get replaced by exhaustion, indifference, complacency, and the routines of everyday life.

Understanding the importance of addressing and trying to find a positive resolution concerning this matter, my heart began to speak. As it spoke, I wrote and freed my gift to stretch beyond people's opinions and simply do what I do, write creatively.

Prepare yourselves, as your emotions are about to go on a roller-coaster ride. Grab some tissues, some water or wine, take a deep breath, and allow your mind to open and be stretched. Let the matters of your heart be thrust onto the table so that you can heal, clear the air, forgive, rekindle the romance, and once again enjoy each other's company.

If you're single, embrace it! If you're in a commitment, be true and appreciate the one you're with. Don't regret your highs and lows—sit in them! You can never fix it or grow if you keep running from the process. Grow through it, push past your complacency, and watch God put the pieces back together—even better.

When we are true to ourselves and allow the residue of our past, pain, egos, and complacency to be washed away, it is then that we can flourish; it is then that we can create and be of service effectively, doing things we never would have imagined.

May my gift remind you to truly live; inspire you to reconnect and restore your heart, hope, passion, and relationship.

VASHTI VALERIUS

Let me begin by stating that Five Days Of… was read in one sitting! I truly enjoyed every moment of it. It was one that left me wanting more—not only for the characters in the book, but for myself. Reading this book made me reflect on the type of marriage I hope to have one day. This is how I would like the dynamics of my marriage to be. Every woman deserves to be completely herself with the person she loves—to feel safe, cherished, accepted, and deeply understood. This story completely captures this kind of love. This story makes you feel that every woman deserves just that! The writing was excellent, and the characters were phenomenal. Each day took the reader to a new plateau, making it impossible to put the book down. This was a beautiful, engaging read, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a heartfelt story that celebrates love, vulnerability, and authentic connection.
